Evergreen was founded in 2020 by a group of former Inslee for America staffers who came together with a mission to advance evidence-based climate solutions and a thriving clean energy economy. When Gov. Inslee left the presidential race, he made his 218-page “gold standard” policy plan into an open-source document. It then became the Evergreen Action Plan, a comprehensive roadmap for investing in and building both a thriving clean-energy economy that strengthens communities and a future rooted in justice and economic inclusion.
Since its founding, Evergreen Collaborative has provided research and insights that have informed major federal and state climate policies and programs. Our work continues to guide decision-makers and stakeholders seeking solutions that strengthen communities, support workers, and promote economic inclusion.
